About Mr. Evans

"With God, all things are possible."
— Matthew 19:26

Mr. Evans Ghartey is a Ghanaian business leader and philanthropist based in the Western Region of Ghana. He is the Founder and CEO of Evanex Foundation, Evanex Gold Enterprise, and Evanex Pharmacy, Laboratory & Scan Center. Through his various enterprises, he has built an ecosystem dedicated to transforming lives at the grassroots level.

Through the Evanex Foundation, Mr. Evans leads impactful community welfare programs spanning healthcare and education. His leadership has driven major initiatives, including essential equipment donations to the Tarkwa Municipal Hospital, annual free rural health screenings, and the launch of the Tarkwa Youth Tech Scholarship Scheme at UMaT.

A strong advocate for youth development, he is the primary sponsor of the High Schools Africa (HSA) Pan-African Educational Exchange Program. This initiative connects second-cycle students in Ghana and across Africa for cross-cultural learning, fostering unity through international student exchanges and institutional partnerships.

His extensive philanthropic work and community impact have been widely recognized and featured across major Ghanaian media platforms, including YEN.com.gh, Ghana News Agency, The Hawk Newspaper, and exclusive features by Miss Western Ghana.

Aseda Praise Tarkwa & Miss Western GH

Founder and sponsor (alongside co-founder Mr. Frederick Lomotey) of Aseda Praise Tarkwa — the biggest gospel mega-concert in the Western Region. They sponsor the entire event to keep this 12-hour nonstop night of praise completely free for everyone.

The landmark 5th-anniversary (2026) edition brought together thousands of believers and featured stars like Joe Mettle, Ohemaa Mercy, and ACP Kofi Sarpong. Mr. Evans is also a key supporter of the Miss Western GH pageant.
